Additional Community Access

In additional to being a VR user, I’m also a V5 user. But my account doesn’t seem to have the same level of access to that category of the Community. How can I gain the ability to write posts in that community as well?

Hi @Aaron_Hansen! Welcome to the Community :slight_smile: Your full access to the VR category is part of your VR Premium license. To get that level of access to the V5 category as well you have 2 options:

  1. Get Certified - Take the VEX V5 Educator Certification Course (in the Intro Courses section of PD+, shown below), and once you’re certified, you’ll have full Community access for that platform.
  2. Become a PD+ All-Access Member - Purchasing a PD+ All Access license will give you full access to all categories of the Community and all facets of PD+.

Thank you. I’ve done that now.

Just a bit of feedback… as someone who has been teaching with VEX for nearly 10 years and would like to join this community to contribute as much as to learn, it’s pretty off putting to have to jump through such lengthly hoops to gain access. I can kind of understand the desire to gate keep community membership. But being able to audit the course or jump straight to the final exam, rather than having to click through all of the chapters first, would have felt been more reasonable.
