As one does at this time of year, I was just thinking about candy corn. And of course, that led me to thinking about what kinds of easy and fun VEX GO Challenges could be presented to students as part of all of the October excitement! I came up with this little list:

Build a Code Base Robot or Competition Advanced Hero Robot and challenge students to race to collect and drive as much candy corn as possible from one side of a VEX GO field to another in a certain amount of time. Students could adapt their robots using pieces from the GO Kit to optimize their ability to compete in this race, and they could code the robot or drive using the drive tab in VEXcode GO.

Build the Adaptation Claw and use it to do a classroom relay race - transport as much candy corn in a cup from one side of the room to the other without spilling it!

Challenge students to use GO pieces to build a candy corn launcher, and launch them at a target!

Try the Wheel It Activity, but add in a challenge to build a wheelbarrow that can hold and transport as much candy corn as possible!
