Competition HeroBot Setup vs CodeGO

Hi,

Just wanted to bring something to VEX’s (or anyone else’s) attention. The build for the competition hero bot instructs students to plug the arm motor into Port 3 on the brain. However, when you load the comp advanced example in CodeGO to setup the bot, the default is for Port 2.

Obviously the students can change the port either physically or in CodeGO. But it is a little confusing if they don’t know what to look for.

Is this something that can either be addressed in CodeGO or the build instructions? Just for uniformity purposes.

Pictures attached for reference.

Thanks!

Thanks for bringing that to our attention! It looks like the PDF version of the Build Instructions shows Port 2 as well, but the Cadasio (3D build instruction) is incorrect.

We will get someone on that to fix that in the 3D build instructions to also be Port 2. I’ll send a note here also when it’s updated
