Love this! I did a similar activity one time with a kiddo who was adamant they did not like robots and did not want to build anything. So we thought through the shapes that make up a bunny and used the pieces to create the bunny head.
Which then led to questions about how they could be connected together and turned into lots of wondering about the engineering side of the world. A great way to connect math concepts in a hands-on way!
