Do other brands USB-C cords to download to Gen 2 robots work?

Hi Everyone,

I am in need of more USB-C cords, too many broke. My school doesn’t wanna pay the $30 for shipping from VEX for 5 cords. Has anyone used other brands from Amazon and do they work? I just need to get through the rest of the year. Any insight is helpful, thanks!

Hey Bonnie!

Any USB-C cord should work with VEX IQ 2nd Generation as the ones provided in the kit are standard specification cables.
