I just wanted to share four CAD Files with y’all that show the EXP: Scissor Lift, Linear Slide, Telescoping Lift, as well as the Cascading Lift, found at Building EXP Robot Lift Systems. This will be so helpful for students watching the lifts video in from the Platform Placer STEM Lab!
It’s one thing to be able to see a video or article and reference an image, but for groups trying to replicate or see the details of the design these CAD files will be a great resource.

Onshape also has CAD files for VEX robots. I use them in my CAD classes which is a great way to utilize resources in more than one class.

Hey everyone, I wanted to share some insightful information regarding EXP. I was drawn back to this thread when I delved into the use of Rack Gears with EXP (link to thread and information). What captured my attention about this thread is its inclusion of CAD files for some impressive lift mechanisms, all achievable using one or more EXP Education Kits. Within the “Building EXP Robot Lift Systems” article, I’ve added 3D renders of these CAD files, allowing anyone to view and understand the design directly in their browser without the need for CAD software. Let us know your thoughts, and if there’s anything else you’d like to see!
