Hi @Sarah_Byerley! It was great to chat with you this morning! I hope it was helpful
Here are the links and articles I was telling you about:
-
VEX GO Code Base 2.0 Build Instructions - This build is a little bit simpler than the original Code Base, and orients the Battery so it can be charged while the Code Base is built. You can find all of the GO Build Instructions at builds.vex.com also

-
Using the Classroom App with VEX 123 article - This walks you through everything to battery, update, pair, and name your 123 Robots and Coders. There is an option for “Update All” in the Classroom App, but for your purposes, I think just going one at a time will be easier to keep track of.
- Battery Pro-Tip - The little pry bar on the back of the GO Pin Tool is helpful for popping the battery compartment on the Coders open if you need to

VEX GO Discovery Activities - This is the article that describes the purpose of these activities and gives tips on how to use them with students. They are intentionally really simple, and designed just to build spatial skills. You should be able to complete them using pieces in the Kits even once other builds are created. All of the individual Activity Google Docs are linked in the article

Good luck with what you’ve got going on! If you want to schedule another session to talk about coding with the Eye Sensor, or breaking down an activity for K, 1, and 2 with the Coder, I’m happy to help and chat about any of that (or whatever you need help with) at any time ![]()
