One of my students damaged the USB port on the brain, and now it can no longer connect to a computer. I’m trying to figure out how to use the microSD card slot. At first, I thought it was because my memory card was too big and couldn’t be formatted to FAT32. But now that I’ve got a proper sized memory card that is properly formatted, programs still don’t appear on the brain.
Any help? I’m beyond frustrated.

Hi @Brent_Wooten! I’m sorry to hear that the USB port is damaged on the Brain.
Unfortunately, the microSD card cannot be used to download and run projects. It’s mostly used to store sensor data.
However, there are other ways that you can download projects without the USB port on the Brain.
-
Downloading wirelessly via the Controller. This must be done using the downloaded version of VEXcode EXP (not the browser version). Here is an article that walks you through that process.

Downloading projects via tablets. Here are articles to walk you through that process as well (Android / iPad). This also requires the downloaded version of VEXcode EXP (not the browser version).
Let me know if this information is helpful or if you have any other questions!
