@James_Nesbitt I am tagging you on this post becasue I know that you do a lot with literacy and VEX 123. But I have a teacher doing something great with VEX GO that I wanted to share.
We are currently preparing our kids for our annual VEX GO Spring Elementary Competition. This year they are competing using the City Technology Rebuild STEM LABS.
A 3rd grade class will be reading, “I Survived the Joplin Tornado”. Students will have to write a short story about a Natural Disaster that would require Emergency Services to handle the help of a city-wide Emergency Team. They need to create a scenario, with characters, setting, and the use of their Hero Robot build. How will the Hero Robot help in this story? Must include at least (3) skills that are included in our VEX Competition Board.
Hopefully the teacher will allow me to share a few of the finished products.
