There are new winter and holiday themed VR Art Canvas + Activities that you can bring to your classrooms to engage in some fun coding activities with a holiday/winter spin!
Use the Winter Holiday Coloring Book Activity to have students code the VR Robot to color in various coloring pages to make holiday inspired art! There are a variety of pre-made coloring page images representing different December holidays as well as levels of detail/difficulty.
You can download students’ canvases and print the images to make holiday cards for families, have a Winter Coding Art Show, or use them as illustrations or story prompts!
In the Snow Much Fun Activity students are given the 2 circles as a base for a snow person, and code the robot to drive and draw to add details like arms, a triangle nose, and a hat. There are so many unique snow people that can be created, and this is a great way for students to share their creativity and personality through their code!
You can also teach a VR Robot to ski with the Ski-bot Activity! Upload one of 3 ski trails to the Art Canvas + and code your robot to ‘ski’ down the mountain. From bunny slopes to ‘black diamond’ there are ski trails of varying complexity.
