Hello, colleagues!
I’m continuing to develop my own VEX GO robotics curriculum, and today I’d like to share a new model designed for the lesson on Linear Motion—one of the first topics in the course, since it’s a fundamental concept in robotics.
My design goals were simple:
easy to build;
powered by a single motor;
moves only forward and backward;
uses the VEX GO Brain (not the Switch), so students begin learning programming from the very first lessons;
fun and engaging.
The result is Moto Trike—a three-wheeled robotic motorcycle.
With this model, students can explore linear motion, control direction and speed, and program different movement behaviors, including constant and variable speeds.
