The INVITE Institute is recruiting middle school classrooms to join a research study on how students learn computer science.
Students in grades 6–8 will complete block-based coding activities in VEXcode VR, take brief surveys, and share their experiences to help improve future learning environments.
What to Expect
- ~5 hours of total class time across 3 weeks
- Includes surveys, knowledge measures, and 3 VEXcode VR challenges
- Activities fit within a single class period (≈45–50 min)
- Teachers complete a brief prep session and survey
Thank-You & Support
- $35 per student who completes all study phases
- $50 per class for technical support
- $200 per classroom upon study completion
