Hello, everyone!
Several of you have asked whether I only design VEX GO models or if I also teach robotics classes. The answer is yes—I do both.
In addition to designing my own robot models, I also create lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and building instructions. At the same time, I teach robotics at two locations in New York City—Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Please take a look at the videos below. These are short clips from my Instagram showing my students in action.
In the first video, you’ll see one of my youngest groups—six-year-old students, who are actually younger than the recommended VEX GO age range. They are building one of my original designs: a two-legged walking robot. We compare it with an official VEX GO walking robot to explore different walking mechanisms and engineering approaches.
In the second video, you’ll see one of my more advanced lessons for older students (ages 9–10). They are building another of my original designs—a multi-electronic Scorpion Robot featuring three motors and a touch sensor. The lesson finishes with one of the students’ favorite activities: Scorpion Robot Battles!
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment—I’d be happy to answer them.
I should also mention that I have developed my own two-year VEX GO curriculum, built around my original robot designs, engineering concepts, and progressive learning objectives.
