In my classroom, I was always eager to find new and unique ways of sharing my students’ learning on the walls of the classroom. I used photographs, hung quotes from students, used actual students work, and about a zillion other ways to try to make the walls of the classroom reflect the work of the students within it.
One way that I often sought inspiration, was by looking to other educators who were working in similar ways (or with similar materials - like VEX 123) to see how their walls spoke the language of learning. I thought it would be really nice if this thread could be a place to share some of that inspiration with others ![]()
How are you documenting, displaying, and sharing your students’ work within and around your classroom? Things you might want to post in this thread:
- Share photos of your bulletin boards or classroom displays
- Upload a video of your students’ explaining a project, and how you use that to communicate with your classroom community
- Offer ideas you’re hoping to try this year to capture students’ learning
- Share photos of a VEX 123 Learning Center in your classroom
- Questions about how to make learning visible in your situation
I’ll tag a few folks to get the ball rolling… @Laura_Mackay, @Desiree_White-Price, @Tina_Dietrich, @Danielle_McCoy, @Anna_Blake
