This is a versatile model that can be used for lessons with a wide range of students. Depending on the age, it can be built with sensors or without them.
The model has been tested in real classes.

What a fun activity! I’m partial since my son plays soccer, but this is a perfect activity to do to wrap up the end of the school year! I’d be interested in the instructions.

This is a really fun build! I agree with @Danielle_McCoy - it’d be a great end of year wrap up activity 
@AudraSelkowitz Thank you for your comment. However, in my introductory course, models and lessons with elements of competition and fun are used quite regularly, not just at the end of the year.
