This article popped into my inbox today, and it brought to mind many of my own students and families that spread kindness in my classroom and school over the years. In case you need a little pick me up, check out the article. What’s the Kindest Thing You’ve Seen a Student Do?
It also made me wonder about the ways you have seen students (or anyone in your school community) share kindness over the years. Maybe you had a Kindergartener give you a hug when they had an a-ha moment, or got an email from a parent that affirmed your teaching practices, or had an administrator do an act of kindness for you? We often, as teachers, find ourselves on the doing ends of acts of kindness, but especially with World Kindness Day just passing on Nov. 13th, it’s nice to be reminded of the kindnesses we have experienced from others as well.
Please share your answer to the question posed in the article - What is the Kindest thing you’ve seen a student (or anyone in your school community) do?. I’ll tag a few folks to get the ball rolling… @Aimee_DeFoe , @Desiree_White-Price , @Tina_Dietrich
