We are so excited to start transitioning from Switch Blocks to Python! We have a mixed class of abilities and experience, but all of our students have been doing well and the most important thing is their confidence! Using text to code would have been a non starter for most of the class for various reasons. “It’s overwhelming”, or “I can’t do that.” The change of thought and their excitement is great. I have attached a letter I am sending home to parents to update them on our progress and a blog I wrote and shared with our administration.
