If you are looking for a fun Thanksgiving activity to do with your class, here is a good one. We are going to read aloud How to Catch a Turkey. Students will decorate a little turkey that will be added to their art ring.

Next, students will work with their group to create a code. One group will be the hunter and the other group will be the turkey. The turkey will start on the board and in one corner and the hunter will start in another corner. They will each run their code at the same time to see if the turkey can escape the hunter.
