In our school district the elementary schools celebrate Unity Day. This year, each 3rd grade classroom is going to have a “focus” word (respect, unity, peace) and will discuss what it means, etc. Along with this, in each classroom, each group will plan, design, and create their “focus” word using VEX parts. I attached the assignment the students were given as well as some pictures.

I love this @Tina_Dietrich! It would be neat to see how students carry through their focus word to their work with VEX. Like how to they bring kindness to their work with their partner? How do they demonstrate respect while they’re learning? How do they make VEX time peaceful? etc.
