We have students who say when they set the velocity to over 100%, they notice a change in speed. Are they correct in their observation or are they just seeing things? I know that going from 50% to 100% doesn’t exactly double the speed, but is it possible for setting the codebase to over 100% to actually be slightly faster?
Hi @Mike_Bothwell! The velocity does go from 0-100%, but it is not a perfectly linear result. It also depends on battery voltage and load on the motors. Factors like these can cause 100% to be less than double the speed of 50%.
That being said, 100% one one robot might look slightly different on another depending on battery voltage and other factors, but I don’t believe it should be that drastic of a difference.

Absolutely!! Thanks for the clarification. We definitely figured it was 0-100% but other factors could come into play. The teacher will be happy to know she wasn’t losing her mind. haha
