As I was with 2nd grade, a little boy excitedly yelled out “I debugged!” I sat down with his group to ask what he meant and the process he went through. He told me that he coded incorrectly and that he went back and thought through what was wrong and what he needed to do to correct his errors.

It could be really fun to have students interview each other as like a ‘Breaking News’ debugging report, a la news broadcasters. Just a fun idea for the new year for you!
