Hello! I am just getting our school’s VEX program started. As I am unpacking items and putting carts together, I noticed that the carts do not have anything in the back to stop boxes from getting pushed off the shelves. Has anyone found a solution for this? If not I am hoping that our janitor will be able to come up with a solution!
Hi! I’m just starting out with our VEX program too. I’ve had great success using the old-school VEX plastic bins, which are fantastic for keeping everything secure. I label the bins from 1-20, and each group of two knows which bin is theirs using the small blue bins for easy identification. You might also find this VEX IQ Storage Bin Lid Tray helpful for keeping items from falling off the carts. Hope this helps!
I ended up sorting the parts into “beams”, “pins” etc. I got tired on trying to keep the correct number of parts in each kit. They use the divider lids to grab the parts they need. I also get less on the floor and students aren’t just playing with the parts, building stuff on the side during lessons.
