We have the Vex CTE 6 Axis Robotic Arm, and we have run into some issues while trying to get this started. The first issue we had was when we were trying to run the arm with only using it with the USB-C and we tried to put the arm in “Safe Position” and it did not work. Once we selected the “Safe Position” an error came on and it said “Failed to move to safe position: controlled stop enable”. The arm would literally flinch and kept saying that error. And we then re-started because we thought we might have done something wrong, but upon further examining the instructions we had done everything correct. Afterwards, we had a call with a VEX Salesmen and he recommended to keep going and install the brain and to see if that helped re-calibrate the arm and maybe fix the issue. But after installing the brain and updating it as well, we found ourselves also in the same issue and the arm would not move with a written program and would also flinch and stop moving.
If anyone knows how to solve this we would really appreciate it!
