@LORI_COLANGELO I love this idea of building a working volcano! Every year our third graders make volcanoes out of a cement type mixture and explode them, but this is a great way to incorporate VEX! I’m going to suggest this new method to our Elementary Science teachers. Thanks for sharing!

No problem, I am always brainstorming way to use VEX outside of the Robotics classroom.

This could be a really neat connection to some other activities too @LORI_COLANGELO and @Tina_Dietrich! The first to come to mind is the Topo Map VEX GO Build! The Island Expedition Activity Series uses that build as a base, and then has students design and build their own island and its topographic map.
The other Activity Series this reminded me of is the Fun with Formations that has students construct models of different landforms using their VEX GO Kits.
I think these could be easily adapted to use VEX IQ pieces instead of GO pieces, and could be a fun way to expand on the volcano idea and connect it to other content.
