I wanted to share what some of our third graders are currently working on to help practice their coding skills. The students created stores/buildings that are within their community to code to such as their school, a bank and even Sam’s Club!

With Thanksgiving and of course Black Friday shopping coming up, I thought this would be a great extension activity for the students to complete! As the students build their cities, they could focus on 1-2 products that their “stores” could sell! They could research their product, create an advertisement and even integrate Math by “discounting” their product for the holiday sale!
