Hello, I am having issues with one of the VEX IQ brains. We are working with the clawbots. I had to recently update the firmware on this brain. The problem this is having is when I download a code to the brain it will not play. It seems to be completely locking up the brain. I have done a factory reset, pulled the battery. The students tried it on their chrome book. I tried it on my teacher computer. We are using the app.
It appears to be a software or firmware issue, but it is beyond my capability. What can I do with the brain?

Sorry to hear that you are having these issues. I would like to help, but I’ll need some additional information to do so.
Can you tell me what generation brain you are using?
Does this happen for any project you are downloading? have you or are you able to try a simple project that just prints to the screen? Just trying to find the simplest way to reproduce the issue to minimize possible issues.
When the brain locks up, does it show anything on the screen?

It is a 2nd generation Brain. It is completely odd. It doesn’t matter if its a 1 command line. It just does not function once downloaded. Nothing is displayed on the screen. Its like the program locked it up. I gave it to Mr. McKenna yesterday.
