Hi everyone I am doing the earthquake unit in vex called tallest tower. I am making the earthquake platform. Following the instructions I cannot see how the two middle sections that make up the platform attach to the top as the large gear is in the way. has anyone made this and can tell me where I am going wrong.
Hello Jonathon, an issue causing the two plates to not be able to attach to the middle section of the Earthquake Tower build maybe be some of the following:
- The standoffs may not be the correct size causing the platform to not raise as high as need
- The 1x2 connector pins may not be pushed all the way down causing the 2x wide, 1x2 Offset Corner Connector to not sit correctly so the motor / gear is raised
