VEX Robotics Competition Coaches: VEXcode VR Virtual Skills score submissions are live, and there’s Worlds spots attached!
The VEXcode VR Autonomous Skills Global STEM Challenge asks teams to build an autonomous project in VEXcode VR, submit a score, then explain how their code works and why they built it that way. The playgrounds run this season’s games, so the autonomous thinking your students do here is the thinking they need for Autonomous Coding Skills at events.
No physical robot, no field, no extra travel. Every registered team gets a Virtual Skills Key they can use to start their coding. The top team submission in each program — VEX IQ Elementary, VEX IQ Middle School, VEX V5 Middle School, VEX V5 High School — earns a spot at the VEX Robotics World Championship!
Open now through February 1, 2027. Teams can enter early and resubmit as they improve. Learn more about the challenge and submissions in this article.
